I'm Going To AEJC (Haha)
2009/01/30
My sleep last night was baad. I couldn't sleep till like 2 and my sleep was highly disturbed by my annoyingly persistent dreaming (or nightmares). I dreamt I got into Anglo-English Junior College. Whatnonsense. Then I drifted off somewhere and suddenly I was in Anderson. Talk about pre-results jitters. This is worse than getting the O Level results, which shouldn't even be the case.
My mom woke me up abruptly at 7.45. Was really annoyed till I realised what day this freaking was. Being the chicken I apparently am, I didn't even dare to log on to the JAE website myself. (Yeah, I didn't give them my handphone number, so no message)
So, hello ACJC. Despite all the crap, rumours and nonsense I've heard about you, here I come. I must say I'm thrilled beyond my bones that M is coming (most likely 60%!) :) *Hyperventilates at the thought.*
But, I'm still not ready for school to start yet :/ Two months of holidays aren't enough. And the thought of Monday is a little daunting. Grahhh I'm gonna miss waking up without the aid of my stupid alarm clock which isn't capable of waking me up.
Oh yes, I'm pretty pleased with the fact that my friends generally got to where they wanted to go :) Congratulations, you guys really deserve it. But I'm gonna miss seeing you people on an almost daily basis :(
Heading out soon for rendezvous with the history group. Whattowear, whattowear.
[/EDIT]
Goodness, just realised that SOOOOOOO many peoplez from St. Marg's got into ACJC. Shocking.
My Robbie Isn't Your Robbie.
2009/01/23
Clarification. When I refer to Robbie, I'm not referring to Robert Pattinson from Twilight (whom I still think isn't
that hot).
I'm referring to Robbie from
Angus, Thongs. And his a.k.a isn't something I thought of.
I think it's quite funny how people think that Robbie is the pet name I gave to Robert Pattinson. Hahaha.
The Tingler
I need to catch my breath.Fringe Festival (with Michellle)The Museum of Broken Relationships. We caught it on the last day :) I thought it was pretty neat (not in the sense of the word). Apologies for the poor picture quality; was using my phone's camera (Surprise, surprise. Not).
She kept her tears in this very bottle. (There's a wee bit of liquid in there, if you look hard enough. Yeap, those are
real tears.)
Sleepover bag. A case of ex-bestfriends?
This is a Tingler.
Dated: 2005
From: Zagreb, Croatia
Description: Tingler, an erotic head massager. One of the things one doesn't give back to ex-girlfriends.
Haha. I was mildly amused by this one.
M's lj has the whole story behind the items. So if you wanna read them, you know what to do.
AND, SOME WRETCHED PERSON STOLE HER PHONE TODAY :( Curse the crowd and her YakPak's front pocket.

I am so tired. Went out to the ACJC open house today. It was okay, I guess. The so-called goodie bag was sad though. I mean after going to the poly open houses, this is like really sad. I guess it was kinda last minute and things. We watched the guitar ensemble, choir and harp ensemble play. At least I hope that's what they're called. They are pretty good. Yes, we saw Nathan Hartono (is that spelt right). He's one of the rare Asians that look really good. I bet the girls there are like clawing each other to get a piece of him.
CCA booths were.. informative. And Michelle's friend was eh, really useful. That sounded strange. Anyway, he graciously took the annoying goodie bags from us so we wouldn't have to lug them all over the place. It was freaking annoying to carry that thing around when there wasn't anything inside that we wanted. And I learnt something really interesting about rugby.
We cabbed down to town and ate at Aston's. Food there is TO DIE FOR. We went at the strange hour of 3 but yet we still had to wait. That's how good the food is. We waited quite a bit but the food was like so ridiculously good that the wait was really worth it. Then we did stationery shopping at our SECRET STATIONERY SHOP which has the best, coolest, awesomest stationery ever. We really LOVED the stationery there. We stayed there for like almost two hours. I bet the people there wanted to smack us cause we were a bit mad. Haha. Michelle youcrazygirl. And we didn't discuss any JC options at all cause we were too carried away.
This is so stressful. I'm really stumped as to which JCs I should put in the option form. And even so, which one should be my first choice? I mean, come on, everyone knows that the first choice is actually the only one that matters. HEADACHE :/
On a lighter note,
S (testing pens): Hey Michelle, what colour is this?
Interrupts Michelle who's happily&busily trying pens as well.
M: It's like dark blue duh. Are you colour blind?!
S: YES.
Hahaha.
Carpe Diem
As to the 12th of January, I say Carpe Diem. I thank the Lord for seeing me through and blessing me. He has been a great source of strength and I give all glory to God.
I am pleased with my results. But being a human being, I find myself comparing my results to others and suddenly, I don't feel that my results were that great. I really hate comparison, but it's human nature. Sometimes, we are all such hypocrites.
Judgement Day Is Looming.

The thought of Monday gives me the creeps :(
It's like looking at this.
Michelle Made My Day.
2009/01/07
I had the greatest evening/night of my life today(6/1). Met up with Michelle (ohmygod, I love this girl) for dinner at Clarke Quay. We ate pretty bad Fish&Chips are Fisherman's Wharf (haha) but I had soo much fun talking to her. She's just so nice to be around with :) We roamed around the whole SingaporeRiver area and sat along the river. (I was actually kinda afraid of falling into the river and dying..) We talked for a gazillion hours. Major HTHs and other random nonsense. I love how we can talk and digress so much to a point where we'll be like,'What were we initially talking about?' Haha.
And Michelle is THE most random person in the world. (She's actually more random than SuYee!) I think she gets distracted really easily. She's talking seriously about something and suddenly she's like,"Hey you see that building over there... It looks like it's called Penis..." HAHAHAHA. It was actually Peninsula Plaza, you perv.
We got ice-cream and walked around the club/pub-ish area with lots of restaurants and ANGMOHS. Omg, I haven't laughed this hard in so long. We were doing the most ridiculous things and laughing like loons. And Michelle likes to announce very loudly, "LOOK OVER THERE" and give specific instructions loudly (while laughing madly at the same time) to look somewhere and the person will kinda like know that we were looking. Hahaha. I was trying very hard not to walk into the random poles in the middle of the street through all that laughing and shrieking. It was quite challenging.
Oh yes, we tried to sit on the bridge. As in not at the edge. We wanted to be like the Bridge People. Hahaha. Had difficulty getting up. Rather embarassing at first but no one was really looking and I think the only people who really saw us were the Italianos taking a picture.
Anyway, I just wanna say that I thank God for Michelle. She's such a blessing, a dear and I LUFF YOU TOO.
♥ ♥ ♥
I need an ambulance; I'm going to have a heart attack.
2009/01/04
OMG, something freaking scary just happened (@around10pm). I was merrily playing The Apprentice when I received a phone call from a number I didn't recognise. That's pretty normal cause after I forgot to transfer all my contacts into my sim card before I sent it for servicing. (I know really dumb. So don't be offended if you message me and I'm like 'who are you?' and stuff.)
I answered the call and the person (male voice) was like, "You have seven days left..." (At least that was what I could make out cause he was trying to sound spooky)
I was SUPER freaked out and I quickly cancelled the call. I really did not want to hear what he had left to say. Then, the person called again. Being the chicken I am, I switched off my phone. I switched it on like 10minutes later and the person apparently tried calling another 2 times.
I know it's probably a prank call/prank calls. But I'm REALLY scared of this sorta thing. Which is why I never watch horror shows. I've only watched 2 horror shows in my 16 years on this planet and they have impacted me badly enough.
1) Shutter: Freaking scared of looking at photos for like a month after that.
2) Seed of Chucky: I HATE DOLLS NOW THANKYOUVERYMUCH.
This horror/gore stuff is not for the faint-hearted I tell you. My heart is like still beating and it has been like 40 minutes! Omg, I'm really such a chicken. I think the probability of me going into cardiac arrest is very very high. I still haven't switched on my phone. GAH.
And the silliest thing is that the number isn't even private. The number is registered in my phone. Noooo way am I calling back. What if it's a shaman?! Or a WITCH DOCTOR?! Okay, there goes my heart. I'm not switching my phone on till tomorrow. Thank God I won't be home alone tomorrow. Thankyouthankyouthankyou Carissa&Dawn.
Oh great, how am I going to sleep later on.
I know laugh at me; I'm the big 16-year-old scaredy-cat.
Happy New Ear!
2009/01/03
New Year's EveWent out with Pavarne! I love our yearly meet-ups. I've known her for like 8 years! My best primary school friend evaxzz. Haha. We spent so much time catching up that time really whizzed pass. We got a drink at LongJohns and before we knew it like 2hours passed and we had to sort of rush to our movie. Haha. We caught Bedtime Stories. It was funny, no surprise there. Then we walked like all the way to Orchard area and took the loong train ride home. All the best for your O Level year!
So I got home, showered and all that doodad. And instead of watching the countdown party nonsense on tv, we smartened up and did rentals. Yeah! We had romance, action and animation. Much more entertaining than watching the silly party thing on Channel 5 cause the performances are usually boring and they do the things they do because of a lack of a better option. So at 11.55 we switched back to Channel 5 and watched the fireworks. That is after all the best part of the whole 2-hour nonsense. The fireworks were pretty, but the only thing that I could think about was:
POLLUTION. Seriously the sky was so smoky that it was unnerving to even watch. I got bored of it really quickly. I don't really like fireworks that much cause they make your ears hurt really badly if you're watching them live. I'd always be a little deaf after watching fireworks. Haha, no wonder it called Happy New (Y)ear.
Anyway, back to the wonderful fireworks at Marina. The music that accompanied the whole display was quite strange. Maybe they were trying to be multi-racial? Anyway, my mom was so excited about the fireworks, as she always is. There was some countdown party thing near my area and they did fireworks too. And when they started the fireworks, my mom flew to the window (literally) and scream, "Faster! Come and seeeeeeeee!" -.- Ahahaha.
New Year's DayI made Oreo Cheesecake! Success! I must thank the awesomest,
LENGSUYEE! She supplied me with the recipe and tips :D This recipe is really really good. I didn't even have to bake it. Just leave it in the fridge overnight. Whoopee :D
Voila!
Okay I know it doesn't look that appetising. This is before refrigeration. I'm too lazy to upload the after picture. Haha. Even my brother said that it was good. Ahahahaha. This is (I think) the FIRST CAKE I'VE EVER MADE. I'm soo happy :B
THANKS SUYEE!!! ♥
